At approximately 10:00 a.m. on April 14, 2026, deputies encountered a man during routine patrol in the 7300 block of Syracuse Avenue in Stanton.
When deputies approached, the man fled and climbed onto the roof of a residence, where he remained for several hours. At one point during the incident, the suspect moved between rooftops, jumping to a neighboring home.
