An investigation is underway Friday morning in Lake Forest after a suspect was shot by an Orange County deputy on a residential street following reports of the person brandishing a firearm.
The shooting happened at about 3:50 a.m. near the 21000 block of Rimgate Drive after deputies responded a call about a person who brandished a weapon to a resident in Rancho Mission Viejo.
Sky5’s Rich Prickett was over the scene at 10 a.m. Friday, where a car was seen with some doors open that is possibly related to the incident.
