The Orange County Health Care Agency on Thursday confirmed another case of measles in a toddler who has traveled internationally.
Health officials are notifying individuals who were exposed to the child in health care and other settings.
Measles is considered the most contagious infectious disease and spreads easily through the air or direct contact with an infected person. People are contagious from approximately four days before the rash begins through four days after the rash appears.

Common symptoms include:
- Fever
- Cough
- Red, watery eyes
- A rash that typically begins on the head and spreads downward
