A possibly stolen box truck burst into flames in Los Angeles County’s Willowbrook neighborhood Tuesday.
Details are limited, but it appears police were in pursuit of the vehicle before the chase ended at the intersection of Wilmington Avenue and East 120th Street around 5 p.m., when the truck caught fire.
Aerial footage of the incident showed crews with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, along with police, standing around the charred remains of the box truck cab. Police had the area cordoned off while they were investigating.
