Two people were arrested in Santa Ana this week after police recovered fentanyl packaged for individual sales during an operation targeting suspected narcotics activity, authorities announced.
According to the Santa Ana Police Department, officers were conducting proactive enforcement around the 400 block of North Grand Avenue at around 4:09 p.m. on May 20 in response to ongoing community complaints about drug activity in the area.
During the operation, officers stopped a vehicle and allegedly discovered approximately 20 grams of fentanyl packaged for individual sales, along with cash and narcotics paraphernalia.
