Anchorage man sentenced for trafficking firearms, 3D-printed machine gun

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) – An Anchorage man was sentenced to four years and nine months in federal prison after pleading guilty to trafficking firearms and illegally possessing a machine gun, federal prosecutors said Thursday.

Kendon Rowcroft-Ivy, 20, was also ordered to serve three years of supervised release after his prison term, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Alaska.

Court documents said Rowcroft-Ivy began arranging firearm sales by text message in January 2025. Prosecutors said he sold two machine gun conversion devices for $1,000 on Jan. 31, 2025, then sold 10 more conversion devices and a pistol with a silencer to the same person on Feb. 4.
