The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 10, across most of southern Michigan with the heat index expected to top 100 degrees.
The advisory includes Berrien, Van Buren, Kalamazoo, Calhoun, Jackson, Cass, St. Joseph, Branch, Hillsdale, Lenawee, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne counties, according to the National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac office, Northern Indiana office and Grand Rapids office.
