An Oakland County judge denied bond on Thursday for a 34-year-old Farmington Hills man accused of killing his elderly grandmother inside the home they shared.
Zeff Nikollbibaj appeared via video from the Oakland County Jail for his arraignment on charges of first-degree murder and felony firearm. Judge Marla Parker entered a plea of not guilty on Nikollbibaj’s behalf, ordering him held without bail. If found guilty of first-degree murder, Nikollbibaj faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole. The firearm charge carries a mandatory, consecutive two-year sentence.
