ANN ARBOR, MI – A man accused of fatally shooting another man during a confrontation in parking a lot outside Ann Arbor has pleaded no contest.
Marvin Sullivan, 34, was one of two men that approached the car of 35-year-old Deryl Banks after Banks and another car almost collided, according to testimony given during Sullivan’s preliminary examination late last year.
Jade Thomas, who was 26 at the time of the hearing, said in a November hearing that she was in the car with Banks on June 16, 2021, outside Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse 4641 Washtenaw Ave. in Pittsfield Township. Banks and another vehicle had almost collided in the parking lot, she said…
