Oklahoma adds ex-Wisconsin starter D’Yoni Hill in surprise twist before Michigan game

Does Brent Venables ever sleep? Maybe not, as in addition to getting ready for the Week 2 showdown in Ann Arbor against Michigan, the Oklahoma head coach is also on his grind on the recruiting trail adding players who can still make a difference this season. Wait, what? That’s exactly the case, as news just broke via Matt Zenitz that the Sooners have landed a transfer commitment from former Wisconsin starting cornerback D’Yoni Hill.

This is a bit of a surprise, but it’s also going to be a welcome addition for the Sooners. Cornerbacks Eli Bowen and Courtland Guillory are locked in as the starters, but depth has been a bit of a concern for Oklahoma. Adding a player of Hill’s caliber sure fixes that problem a bit, and he also may not be the only transfer addition on the way for OU too…
