LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – An accident turned into a big win for a 78-year-old woman from Washtenaw County who took home a Club Keno prize of $133,660.
The anonymous woman told Michigan Lottery officials that she and her husband went to Polar Bear Bar in Saline, where they played The Jack, a Club Keno add-on game. Shortly after leaving, the couple realized they had accidentally played the wrong ticket at another bar.
“My husband and I were out at a restaurant for a reunion, and we each purchased a Club Keno ticket while we were there,” said the player. “After the reunion, we stopped at another bar, and my husband accidentally replayed my Club Keno ticket instead of his. “Shortly after, we saw all my The Jack numbers come up on the screen and found out we’d won $136,660. It was so unexpected but incredible, to say the least! This money will allow us to be able to breathe.”…
