ANN ARBOR, MI — Plans are in the works for an extension of Ann Arbor’s Division Street bikeway in 2027.
The two-way protected cycle track currently runs from the University of Michigan campus area at its south end through downtown and into the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood to the north, ending near Community High School.
The city and Downtown Development Authority have proposed extending it north to the Broadway bridges where cyclists could take the bridge across the river and continue to Plymouth Road with additional improvements there proposed.
