ANN ARBOR, MI – A man who pleaded no contest to killing someone may serve as few as five years in prison, angering the victim’s family.
“Five years is an extraordinary leniency for a man who brought a gun to a fistfight,” said Latonya Jernigan. “I’m not asking for revenge. I know no number of years can bring Nicholas back. I am asking for accountability.”
