A roundabout built next to one of Dexter’s oldest and most notorious traffic bottlenecks appears to be winning over drivers, although some motorists say navigating the new configuration still comes with close calls.
In an informal Facebook poll posted by Bj Wallingford on Friends of Dexter, respondents were asked, “Now that we’ve had the new roundabout for awhile, how effectively do you think it works during rush hour?”
As of this writing, the response was strongly positive: 84% (147 votes) said it is better than before, while 11% (20 votes) said it is about the same and 5% (7 votes) said it is worse…
