ANN ARBOR, MI – A nearly $5-million University of Michigan grant is aimed at students combining their business interests with their environmental advocacy.
The $4.9 million grant was made available by the Erb Institute to UM students seeking dual degrees at the School for the Environment and Sustainability and the Ross School of Business.
“The Erb Legacy Scholarship gives us relief, but it also gives us something even more powerful: the possibility of thinking bigger, of dreaming, of having options, and choosing what we do with our lives while we learn and live experiences that may let us make a difference in this world and change people’s lives,” one of the recipients Mariana Lopes said in a university release. “And with that opportunity comes responsibility. I want to make it worth it.”…
