Trial is scheduled for a Farmington Hills teen accused of fatally shooting a Detroit woman in July. Brandon Butler, 17, is charged with first-degree premeditated homicide and felony firearm for the slaying of Tavita Hunter, 23. The case against him was bound over to the 3rd Judicial Circuit in August, following a preliminary exam in district court. Trial is scheduled to begin on Dec. 9, with Butler tried as an adult. Judge Kelly Ramsey will oversee the trial.
