A weather alert was issued by the National Weather Service on Monday at 8:09 p.m. EDT for strong thunderstorms until 9:15 p.m. EDT for Livingston County.
Anticipate penny-sized hail (0.75 inches) and wind gusts of up to 50 mph.
“At 8:09 p.m., Doppler radar tracked a strong thunderstorm near Gregory, or near Pinckney, moving east at 30 mph,” states the weather service. “Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.”…
