Scio Township wants to talk with the city of Dexter about the annexation proposal of the Sloan-Kingsley Property.
To do so, the township has put together a group of representatives to sit down with Dexter to talk about the 45 acres of land located in the township, but whose owners hope to develop it with a connection to the city.
The Scio Township Board designated their group at the April 28 township board meeting. The group is made up Township Attorney Mariah Fink, Clerk Jessica Flintoft, Trustee Kathleen Knol, Trustee David Read, and Land Preservation Commission Co-Chairperson Elizabeth Wiseman.
