Cancer survivors to be honored at Ann Arbor celebration

ANN ARBOR, MI — The Cancer Support Community of Greater Ann Arbor will partner with the University of Michigan Health Rogel Cancer Center to host a free celebration honoring cancer survivors on Sunday, June 7, at Washtenaw Community College, according to a May 6 press release.

The event will mark the 39th annual National Cancer Survivors Day, a worldwide observance that recognizes cancer survivors, raises awareness of ongoing challenges and celebrates life. The celebration will run from noon to 3:30 p.m. in the Morris J. Lawrence Building on the college campus at 4800 E. Huron River Drive.
