After several Arlington, Texas residents reported seeing a stray dog happily making her way around town, Animal Services knew it was time to step in.
The cheerful Pit Bull mix, who would later be named Bitsy, had been wandering through nearby neighborhoods like she was on a little social tour, saying hello to just about everyone she met.
Thankfully, she eventually stopped by the home of a kind local resident. That small pause made all the difference, helping Officer Allex Pollard find her quickly and bring her somewhere safe.
