Northeast Radio SD News – South Dakota – A pair of fugitives who spent more than eight years evading authorities on human trafficking charges in South Dakota were arrested this week in Texas, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
Sheilata Gordon, 49, and Myeshia Gordon‑Hughley, 53, were taken into custody on June 1 in Grand Prairie, Texas. Both had been wanted since 2017 after failing to appear in court on felony human trafficking charges filed in Hughes County.
According to the Marshals Service, the two women were originally arrested and made initial court appearances before being released on bond. They fled the state shortly afterward, and their whereabouts remained unknown for years…
