An Ohio-based chain known for freshly baking bagels all day long will open its first Texas location in Aledo soon.
Barry Bagels signed a 30-unit franchising deal to expand operations to Texas, starting in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
“I worked at the original location with Barry Greenblatt, the original owner,” Barry Bagel’s Texas franchise partner Michael Wainz told the Star-Telegram. “I can’t take people from Texas up to the Ohio-Michigan border. I need to bring it to them, and so choosing to open up the store where my wife and I live is why we’re starting there [in the DFW area].”…
