Chuck E. Cheese’s Adventure World

Best for: Combining a meal with active indoor play

Of the more than a dozen Chuck E. Cheese locations around DFW, this one in Arlington is in a world all its own. Think beyond pizza and arcades. Your little ones can spend hours of active play inside this three-story, 12,000-square-foot attraction. The indoor playground has got a trampoline zone with slides and a soft superhero-themed area (both for kids under 56 inches), and another play area specially for toddlers. (Don’t forget to wear your socks!) There’s even a mini soccer court and, of course, a light-up dance floor.

Open since last November, it’s the first-ever such attraction from Chuck E. Cheese, which is approaching 50 years in business, and only one of a handful in the U.S. It’s all designed specifically for kids 3–8 years, although there are no height restrictions to step inside and keep a closer eye on them. Plus, Chuck E. Cheese has their own Kid Check system in place with UV-stamps (or stickers for babies) when you enter.
