The grocery store that many North Texas food lovers have been waiting years for is still under construction. But the sprawling shopping center surrounding it is already becoming one of North Texas’ newest dining destinations.
Nearly a half-dozen restaurants have opened at the H Mart Plaza in Haltom City, and several more are on the way, giving diners an early taste of the Asian food hub taking shape near Loop 820 and North Beach Street.
The 50-acre mixed-use development will eventually be anchored by H Mart, the popular Korean supermarket chain known for its extensive selection of Asian groceries, produce, and prepared foods. The Haltom City location, the chain’s first in Tarrant County, is expected to open later this year…
