DeSoto ‘special needs’ teen arrested, accused of fatally shooting friend in his home

Two families are left with more questions than answers after a 911 call on Sunday that someone inside a home on Sequoia Court had been shot.

“[I got a call] and she said, ‘I just wanted you to know that shooting happened on Sequoia was at my house,'” Dr. Monica Lewis, the godmother of accused shooter Mirron ‘Boogie’ Foster, said. “I said, ‘What are you talking about?’ She said, ‘That was Boogie.’ I said Boogie’s dead?’ She said, ‘No, Boogie shot Jayden.’ I said, ‘You got to be kidding me.’ I just lost it.”

Foster, 18, is accused of shooting 18-year-old Jayden Christman, according to his family. He was arrested Sunday. Lewis told NBC 5 that Foster has special needs and has been struggling with his mental health…
