Limited edition Raising Cane’s toy benefits Dallas Pets Alive!

DALLAS (KDAF) — Raising Cane’s is marking its 30th anniversary by donating net proceeds from a limited-edition plush puppy toy to Dallas Pets Alive! The fundraiser will run from Aug. 27 to Sept. 22 at participating restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and online.

Priced at $12.99-plus tax, the collectible toy features a 1990s-inspired look referencing the year the fast-food chain opened. Proceeds will support Dallas Pets Alive! in its efforts to provide resources, education and programs to eliminate the killing of companion animals in North Texas.

Todd Graves founded Raising Cane’s in Baton Rouge in 1996, naming the restaurant chain after his yellow Labrador, Raising Cane. Since its founding, the company has expanded from a single Louisiana location to more than 1,000 restaurants nationwide…
