AUSTIN (KXAN) — The Texas Department of Public Safety arrested a North Texas man Aug. 25 for allegedly threatening to kill State Rep. James Talarico, D-Austin, for comments made by the U.S. Senate candidate on the campaign trail, according to a DPS special agent’s affidavit filed with Travis County courts.
Billy James McFatridge, 29, of River Oaks, Texas, faces two misdemeanor counts of terroristic threat against a public servant. KXAN has asked his attorney for comment and will update this story if received.
