A Monday morning robbery at a Chase Bank in Cedar Hill, Texas, ended before police could reach the lobby, after an armed customer shot a knife-wielding suspect who had entered the branch and demanded money from employees.
Gun rights activist Colion Noir highlighted the case in a recent video, using a FOX 4 Dallas-Fort Worth report by Peyton Yager to argue that even an unusually fast police response cannot always arrive before a violent threat has already unfolded.
Police reportedly reached the bank in less than two minutes, which Noir described as an excellent response time, but by then the armed customer had already confronted the suspect and fired.
