Duncanville, TX: Parent Demands Answers After Daughter Faces Discipline Following Alleged Bullying Incident

A Duncanville, Texas, mother says she is fighting for her daughter after an alleged bullying incident at school left the family questioning how the school district handled previous reports and the disciplinary response that followed.

The mother, Tiauna Ware, shared her concerns in the Dallas Off The Chain Facebook group, where she said her daughter was involved in an incident in which she was allegedly jumped. According to Ware, the school is now attempting to send her daughter to a Disciplinary Alternative Education Program, commonly known as DAEP.

Ware said the decision has been especially frustrating because she and her daughter had previously reported bullying concerns to the school and submitted written statements when they were asked to do so.
