The city of Fort Worth has applied to the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development for $13.5 million in grants for housing and homelessness programs.
The city submitted its 2026-2027 Action Plan on Aug. 14 to HUD, staff members told members of the city’s Community Development Council during their meeting Sept. 9. The CDC is a Fort Worth City Council advisory board organized in 1974 that helps set priorities for federal funding the city receives.
