CLOVIS, N.M. (KAMR/KCIT) — Clovis Municipal Schools announced that the Clovis High School Women’s Select Choir was awarded the “Best in Festival” honor at a music festival in Texas.
CMS said on April 25 that the Clovis High School Women’s Select Choir traveled to Euless, Texas, to compete in the Lone Star Classic Music Festival and earned superior ratings from all adjudicators.

Officials said the choir was notified on Monday that they had been awarded the “Best in Festival” honor, recognizing them as the top-performing ensemble across the entire two-day event.
“This recognition caps an extraordinary year for the Women’s Select Choir,” said CMS officials. “Their continued commitment to excellence has resulted in a series of remarkable achievements, including earning Sweepstakes honors at the Music Performance Assessment and being named the 1-5A NMAA Treble Choir State Champions.”…
