SprawlTag first covered this North Richland Hills site on February 23, 2020. At the time, the former Denny’s on Glenview Drive had already closed. The building has since taken on a new life. Today, the former restaurant at 8025 Glenview Dr is home to Salon and Spa Galleria | Glenview.
The older aerial images show how long this corridor has been shaped by roadside development. By 1970, the area near Interstate 820 was still fairly open, with scattered commercial buildings and large undeveloped patches. By 1979, more structures and parking lots had filled in around the site.
The timeline captures a familiar suburban shift. A once-busy 24-hour diner became an empty restaurant building, then later found a second act as a salon suite property along one of North Richland Hills’ older commercial corridors.
In April 2015, the Glenview Drive Denny’s still had its classic roadside look. The tall pole sign, red roofline, 24-hour message, and wide front lawn all faced traffic. This image captures the building before closure, when it still served as a familiar diner stop in North Richland Hills.
Seen from Interstate 820 in March 2025, the former Denny’s had a very different identity. It had become a Salon & Spa Galleria suite-rental location.
