Fairfax County’s Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano has continued to catch the ire of more locals. Descano and his office are currently under investigation by the Department of Justice, according to a May 8 release. The investigation revolves around Descano’s sentencing and policing while refusing to work with ICE agents. The DOJ is looking into claims that Descano has granted preferential treatment to illegal aliens. Aside from the investigation, Descano’s ties to Soros-related PACs are alleged to have affected his job performance.
Cully Stimson is the acting director and senior legal fellow at the Heritage Foundation, a conservative think tank that is known for its advocacy. As a former criminal defense lawyer in the U.S. Navy, among other places, Stimson believes that ties to George Soros and his pro-criminal-reform system have shaped many of the issues in Fairfax County.
