PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (7News) — On Tuesday evening, the Prince William County Board of Supervisors is meeting in Woodbridge to discuss a new data center project, which, if approved, would cover nearly 2,000 acres in the western part of the county.
The data center proposal is called Dulles South. It would be twice the size of the stalled Prince William Digital Gateway data center proposal that residents fought for years. The proposed Digital Gateway was 22 million square feet of data center floor area, while the proposed Dulles Cloud South is 43 million square feet of data center floor area.
