Prince William supervisors approve $64M Sudley Manor Drive interchange

The Prince William Board of County Supervisors on Tuesday approved a $64 million contract for the design and construction of the Route 234 Sudley Manor Drive interchange project in the western part of the county.

Spearheaded by contract awardee Wagman Heavy Civil, Inc., a construction firm based in York, Pa., the interchange consists of constructing “grade-separated improvements” at the intersection of Prince William Parkway at Sudley Manor Drive and includes modifications to the intersection of Prince William Parkway and Wellington Road, according to county documents.

Brentsville District Supervisor Tom Gordy, whose district includes the property, thanked county transportation staff during Tuesday’s board meeting for its diligence in bringing to fruition a project that was initially “planned for a few years out.”…
