MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Montgomery County police are searching for a missing autistic 11-year-old boy who was last seen in Silver Spring on Sunday evening.
The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) issued a Purple Alert for Mehkai Fieffe around 10:45 p.m. on July 26.

Mehkai was last seen on Sunday around 6:20 p.m. in the 3300 block of Teagarden Circle. He is autistic and non-verbal.
He was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt with a blue shirt and white sneakers, as seen below. Police described Mehkai as around five feet and four inches tall with brown eyes and black hair. He weighs around 150 pounds.
MCPD noted that when engaging with an autistic person, remain calm and approach them slowly. People should avoid making any sudden movements and use a reassuring tone when speaking…
