PARSONS, W.Va (WDTV) – A Maryland man faces felony drug charges in Tucker County after West Virginia State Police discovered more than 100 grams of fentanyl hidden in his vehicle’s engine compartment.
Kadeem Santiful, 33, was arrested on Monday, August 10, following a traffic stop on Route 48 as he traveled eastbound toward Parsons, according to official records.
During the stop, a K-9 unit conducted an open-air sniff of the vehicle. The K-9 alerted deputies to the presence of narcotics near the front bumper.
A subsequent search of the vehicle by state troopers and backing officers uncovered 112 grams of suspected fentanyl concealed inside the engine compartment. Authorities estimate the street value of the seized drugs at more than $14,000…
