A Herndon man is charged with reckless driving after authorities said he was driving the car that struck and killed a man on Rt. 7 in August.
Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office and Loudoun County Fire Rescue crews responded to the area of Rt. 7 and Palisade Parkway around 9:25 p.m. on Aug. 29 for a report of a pedestrian struck by a car. They found Shawniel Clarke Alexander, 24, of Sterling, dead at the scene.
