$10 Million Bicycle and Pedestrian Project Begins In Montgomery County

The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will begin construction on a $10 million bicycle and pedestrian route along MD 390 (16th Street) in Silver Spring, with a long-term lane closure scheduled to begin Monday, October 5.

The project will extend along 16th Street between Spring Street and 2nd Avenue and is designed to improve bicycle and pedestrian connections in the area.
