Runners Set for Pike’s Peek 10K and Festival at Pike & Rose

Pike’s Peek 10K returns to North Bethesda on Sunday, April 26, bringing one of the area’s most popular running events back to Montgomery County with a fast course, family-friendly races, and a lively post-race festival.

The event, hosted by the Montgomery County Road Runners Club, is widely known for its USATF-certified 10K course, which has earned a reputation as a “PR course” thanks to its downhill-friendly layout. Runners will begin at the Shady Grove Metro Station and make their way to the finish line on Rose Avenue, just south of Montrose Road at Pike & Rose.

The race is set to begin promptly at 7:50am, with the full event running through 10am. In addition to the main 10K, Pike’s Peek offers options for younger participants, including a Kids Fun Run of approximately a quarter mile and a 50-meter Toddler Trot, both taking place near the finish area at Pike & Rose…
