Western Loudoun Motorcycle Chase Leaves Fauquier Deputy, Suspect Hurt

A suspect who fled police on a motorcycle Friday night is in the hospital and a Fauquier County sheriff’s deputy has minor injuries after a police chase came to an end near Short Hill Road near Round Hill.

The pursuit began when Virginia State Police troopers tried to pull over a motorcycle for speeding on northbound Rt. 17 near Marshall at 10:19 p.m. April 24, according to VSP spokesperson Matt Demlein. The motorcyclist fled, and a pursuit was initiated.
