‘It was not my fault’: Fairfax County board denies homeowner’s appeal for controversial 3-story construction

GREENBRIAR, Va. (DC News Now) — A controversial three-story home addition that sparked backlash in a Fairfax County neighborhood will not move forward as planned after a zoning board denied the homeowner’s appeal.

The Fairfax County Board of Zoning Appeals rejected a request from homeowner Minh Nguyen for an exception that would have allowed construction to continue on the structure, which some neighbors have called an eyesore.
