Montgomery County Police responded Wednesday at approximately 11:29am to Blake High School in Silver Spring for a report of a student with a firearm.
According to MCPD, officers located the firearm and the person has been detained. Montgomery County Public Schools has placed the school in a hold status. An MCPD update indicated that the suspect is not an MCPS student.
