Homeless housing project at former Ramada Inn expected to open in 1.5 years

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — News 13 has learned the Ramada Inn homeless housing project could take at least another year and a half before units open.

The California-based developer Friendship for Affordable Housing owns the former Ramada Inn.

A representative says the company is confident its application to secure federal housing vouchers will come through soon…
