NORTH CAROLINA — A traffic stop in Madison County led to the seizure of methamphetamine and the recovery of multiple stolen items, including trailers and a boat, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the incident began May 31 when they observed a pickup truck towing a trailer loaded in a hazardous manner. As the vehicle turned, several items reportedly fell from the trailer onto the roadway, creating a traffic hazard.
