Saluda Fire & Rescue shares water safety tips for summer recreation

SALUDA— As residents and visitors head to area rivers, streams, and waterfalls this summer, Saluda Fire & Rescue’s Swiftwater Rescue Technicians are encouraging everyone to practice water safety and take precautions before entering the water.

Deputy Chief Zach Pace and Engineer Nick Edwards recently shared several reminders to help prevent accidents and reduce the risk of water-related emergencies during the busy summer recreation season.
