ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Asheville Police Department has confirmed responding to multiple reports of fighting juveniles during the Downtown After 5 concert last week.
According to APD Public Information Officer Rick Rice, officers responded to the calls around 8:15 p.m., June 19, in the 120 block of College Street, located within a block of the Pack Square Park stage where Downtown After 5 is hosted.
“APD responded to multiple calls of fights in progress between unsupervised juveniles,” said Rice. “During that time, a juvenile showed an officer a minor cut on his hand. The victim refused treatment and walked away.”…
