SALUDA—Repair work on a heavily damaged section of Green River Cove Road is set to begin as the North Carolina Department of Transportation continues efforts to restore local infrastructure damaged by Tropical Storm Helene.
According to Polk County officials, NCDOT crews will soon begin repairs on Green River Cove Road from Silver Creek Road to the Fishtop Access area. Motorists should expect delays and intermittent road closures during construction.
