When Lark Elliott talks excitedly about lichens, reishi mushrooms and the cluster of pink lady’s slipper orchids she’s just discovered in the forest at Tuxedo Falls, it’s hard to imagine her background is in banking, not botany.
Today, Lark, a former managing director at Bank of America, owns and operates the six-unit luxury camp near Hendersonville, just a two-hour drive from Charlotte. Her husband, Tommy, a former Wall Street exec, helps out.
