Leaders from Blue Ridge Regional Hospital recently came together for a community service project benefiting the Yancey Humane Society, creating more than 400 homemade dog treats and rope toys for local shelter animals. The donated items will help enrich the lives of dogs awaiting adoption while supporting the humane society’s ongoing efforts to care for animals in need.
The project reflects Blue Ridge Regional Hospital’s commitment to serving the community both inside and outside the hospital. HCA Healthcare encourages colleagues to give back through volunteerism and supports those efforts by matching eligible charitable donations and providing a $200 Care Card for every 10 hours of volunteer service so employees can donate it to the nonprofit of their choice…
